This week i will be going through various license and learn about it also to make a awareness that which suits my product etc.
"Licensing means renting or leasing of an intangible asset. It is a process of creating and managing contracts between the owner of a brand and a company or individual who wants to use the brand in association with a product, for an agreed period of time, within an agreed territory."
"Intellectual property refers to creations of the mind: inventions; literary and artistic works; and symbols, names and images used in commerce."
As the image depicts the clauses of the license, Its prewtty very much clear that the owner is making his piece of work exposed to anyone who need to modify and also any harm thus caused wont be responsibilty of the license holder.
CC is a copyright license that allow the free distribution and author can choose what it can be used for(commercial or others) eventhough it can be share, use and rebuild the same.
There several types of licenses as explained on the below image:-
cc helps one wants to share things with some rights reserved rather locking entire datasource a dead block,it will insist to protect the needed which will depends on many perspectives and aspects, here is the video which will give a birdsview regarding the same.
Open source, free license maintained by Mozilla foundation, in which the reknown web-browser Mozilla firefox is licensed under, This license is said to be a hybrid version of BSD and GPL license, this allows to modify the source under conditions subjected to another license nay how the source should be freely available, these feature make MPL a combination of both MIT OR BSD where it allows to relisence as prorietery

The above quoted 3 clauses gave the 3 clause license,BSD stand for Berkeley Software Distribution .Its in family of permissive free software licenses, imposing minimal restrictions on the redistribution of covered software.clause 3 allows unlimited redistribution for any purpose as long as its copyright notices and the license's disclaimers of warranty are maintained. The license also contains a clause restricting use of the names of contributors for endorsement of a derived work without specific permission.
(c) holder date

I will go for either MIT license or Creative Common license(Attribution-ShareAlike) because what i am aiming by my work is that customization and familiarize various version of product so as to improve the product by the time because i believe in Improvize.Adapt.Overcome. policy
This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms. This license is often compared to “copyleft” free and open source software licenses. All new works based on yours will carry the same license, so any derivatives will also allow commercial use. This is the license used by Wikipedia, and is recommended for materials that would benefit from incorporating content from Wikipedia and similarly licensed projects.
By comparing these two for my project here i will go for MIT license, because i will leave the credit part inorder to have much optimized and personalized versions of my base product globally.
I will make use of open source furniture options, such as Open Desk, which is a "global platform for local making" and is focused primarily on work place furniture, but may evolve into other kinds of furniture as noted on their site. The Open Desk business model is interesting and attempts to create a win:win scenario for all - consumer, designer and local makers, also i will make my product design posted in hackster, instructables and i am planning to make git page which will be like a tutorial and how could they make possible changes easily especially by varying contrsaints in grasshopper etc,for my experience they can get back to my project documenation as well i hope, since i licensed my project under MIT license so referance and replication will be easy .In future i may be register as a LLP (Limited Liabality Partnership) which is similar to LLC in other countries, company and brand it as a product at the same time i will keep the resources open which allow proper freedom and ensures my personal obligation
