Final Project draft

As final project i would like to build an all terrain robot ( water included ).

The design i thought about is a spherical robot ( sealed ).

How will it move: The center of gravity will be as low as possible, so that the motor ( coupled with the external shell ) will make the ball spin while the motor, electronics , batteries etc will remain horizontal. To steer i think will be enough to move ( with a servo ? ) the battery ( biggest weight in the robot ) left or right.

There will be a 6DOF IMU and a PID algorithm to stabilize it

My goal is to keep size as small as possible and build the most inside the lab.
