WEEK 1

• Plan and sketch a potential final project

THE COMPANION

Idea: Thinking in those moments when you are all alone and need help, surveillance, or just company, i have imagine a device that follows you everywhere. Initially, the idea come from one of my students, but just as a light that follows you. Following that thought ¿why can't this device be some kind of company? like a pet for example. Or a tool, like the idea of my student, a light for places where there is no light at all, like the countryside, the desert or the jungle. Even for entertainment, listen to music for example. It could work for babies, old people, or just people.

Sketches: The idea is making a drone (quadcopter) conected (whit wifi, bluetooth,etc) to a device in the person (cellphone, bracelet, ring, etc), so it can take parameters of distance to follow the person. It could be a platform to "attach" new features (light, speakers, sensors, etc.).

Planning: I'm going to base my final project in four items, RESEARCH, IDEA, DESIGN and PROJECT DEVELOPMENT.
