Week 18

Assignment

The Assignment for this week included developing a plan for dissemination of your final project; preparing a summary slide (presentation.png, 1280x1024) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5. This would be helpful in making the Final Project be easily understood by the public

My Final Project

My project of 3D Scanner was purely relavant to my needs of making machines for my Fablab. ARO FABLAB which I manage need just more machines for various purposes and this is such machines which was lacking

Intellectual Property Licensing

My learning sessions was dependent on the open source projects previously developed by others and for the purposes of better quality improvement, I wanted a license which would make sure I remain recognized by any of the user of my invention but they can also easily access it. This, in my belief would make it easy to improve it so much as more people would become creative in its development

For the above reason, I chose Creative Commons. This would favour my desires and let me enjoy my rights as others use it

Plan

I see myself getting involved in more of machine making. I want to learn more about other machines, identify challenges involved and find solutions. Working at a Fablab in a rural part of the Country whereEngineers and Architectures are hard to find, it will be an uphill task to prove the meaning of Fablab and Fab Academy.

I will also try to make College graduates who believe that the paractical works belong to technicians so that they can not end their work in designing alone but to actually get involved in making.

I am looking forward to conducting Fab Academy in 2018 but make sure that in 2017, I alot of people ranging from students, to Entreprenuers to Various Professionals around get to know what it is, why it is an important Course and how it is ran/p>
