Final Project Intention

The final project intention is to make some custom furniture design. So depending on your size, your weight or your ages -or maybe others interactions like your voice or the colour of your eyes- a programm will find the perfect furniture (I think of a chair or a shelf) that suit for you. A project already exists wich is pretty close to my intentions, wich is the 'Ass Tool' by Jens Dyvik. It scan your ass with a kinect and depending on how big he is, it creates the perfect stool for you. In my project I want to use some simple wood, findable in any craft store, and 3D printed joint member to fix them together so the object can be easily made by any people who goes in a fablab. Another project that inspire me for the joint member is 'Le roi du noeud' which is some joint build to home-made any kind of furniture. I want my 3D printed joint to be the same way. To summarize it, I propose to make a construction game, kind of a Lego to build furniture in a FabLab. I still have to think about what kind of furniture will it be and how it will be custom by the people who want to use it.
