Collaborativ Technical Development

First week was dedicated for set up our machines to work together. The first thing was to create a website to document all of my work. What I did first is following this tutorial by 'Le site du zero' which is very complete and easy to understand if you understand french. Then I searched for a website simple and efficient in the Fabacademy 2013 archive. I took that one (thanks Omar Elsafty !) by using the "show source code" options wich is ctrl+U on firefox. Then I adding images, changing colors and other little things to create my own website. For logo's and graphics I saved images as '.png' and for the images i used '.gif' to get them very light. The website has to be static, wich means the only things online is some text document, then it will be interpreted by the navigator of each people watching it. It allows it to be very light so we can use "Mercurial-Hg". It's a kind of DropBox which check at every update which files are different, so it save all the different versions of our evolving work. The web-pages of each student can be consulted here.
