after making the Autodesk Inventor design and make the cut with CNC shopbot, I have positive and negative mold


I chose fabrics to go with the mold, burlap , expoxic resin we sourced locally: Pox Bak. It is mainly used in electric and electronic devices, but it would have to do. It is composed of a resin and a catalyst, and in order to be used it has to be prepared, the parts being added in a 2:1 ratio.


I covered the first mold with Vaseline to facilitate the removal of the fabric, as later


also it covers the first mold plastic


calculating appropriate proportions 2: 1, using a balance


I cover the entire mold with the mixture


finally I put a plastic layer and cover with the positive mold, with the help of presses


The final result is shown in the picture, in some places good results are not obtained, due to poor distribution of the material, a recommendation would be to use a brush to evenly distribute the material ( DOWNLOAD_design files ) Autodesk inventor
