Welcome to my week 1 Assignment which is about Personal site. Other lessons learnt were Principles and Practices and Project Management. I started the site construction by using bootstrap
Later on after getting time to read this reference site w3schools Tutorials, I decided to start all over again since I had difficulties with editing my work.
This site has a good tutorial and very helpful. I have spent alot of time here since all the assignments have to be posted here.Web development has Languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript and without undertanding their mode of application, you cannot move any further.

I started all over again almost five time before getting the concept. Now that I could not find notepad or wordpad in the OS I am using i.e Ubuntu, I had to switch to the Windows to start the construction. After alot of trials with other editors including Sublime text, I settled on Brackets as my text editor. It is the perfect text editor especially to the begginners who are prone to lots of mistakes. I highlights mistakes with the colour red and many at times dont disply it on the browser. It also give suggestions to the next possible move if you start typing something say; style, it will automatically bring you the next steps as shown below
Final Project Proposal Formulation
I made alot of a lot of soul searching to get the right Final Project to work on. The potential Final Project might not really solve any problem but would have included most of the skills to be learnt in class for the coming period. Everything seemed confusing but inside Gearbox, there was a carpet pinned in the part of the room and thought of doing a project to help keep it clean.
Here, the idear struck and I called it Electric Door Mat. This proposed Final Project is expected to be a simple machine which would be elctrically op[erated to remove dust from the soles of shoes of people entering a room.
The machine would be fitted with 3 revolving brushes using motors, a saction pump and a weight sensor. A simple board would be developed to control the operations.
Application
This Electric Door Mat which will be places at the entrance of the house will get powered/ turned on when one steps on it. The weight sensor will ensure that the connection will be done just on achieve a specified range of weight lest it be activated even by a cat stepping on it. If possible a database would be developed to keep record of the number of clients entering the wouse with their weights (this will only be done if there is time but not the main objective)Change of Plan
I had to change my plans from the above planned Final Project Proposal to a 3D Scanner. This was a Mechanical and Machine Designing group project but since I spent alot of time thinking and doing this project alone, I made consultastion if I would later on use it as my Final Project. This 3D Scanner have a PCB which controls two motors using Pololu MOtor drivers and an Atmel 328P AU chip. There is a base with circular surface, A circular table holding the object to be scanned and an Arm holding the camera and facilitates it up/down movements.
Lessons Learnt
Here, everything was a learning session for me. The areas which gave me challenges most were insertion of images, links, formating and layouts. Also understanding the technique of separation of pages and linking them at the same time was so difficult but at last proved to be the best thing to do as it easens further editing without interfering with other pages

Below were now the new looks of my pages after alot ot changes.
The pages now became much easier to manage, edit and even loked better as compared to previous time. I found it quiet easy using Bracket as my text editor even thhough I could at times use submlime test
