Applications and Implications

Some question and answers about my final project.

What will it do? I have an idea of adding some sensors to the homebiogas kit whereby it will be easy to prevent accidents and also you can read the level of the gas you are having.

Who did it before? Some people have been doing homebiogas kits but i haven't got one with sensors and actuators for measuring the gas leakage and closing instantly or opening so it's like an addition am implying

what materials and components will be required? For this homebiogas kit, the materials i'll use is MDF,

Where will they come from? I am using easy available materials and most of these materials i will buy them at the local market, they are available.

How much will it cost? The cost isn't high since all the materials are available at the local market and some are here in the fablab

What parts and system will be made? Except electronics, each and every part of it will be made with almost The Shopbot, and maybe the electronic board will be designed and milled bya the Roland here in fablab.

Procedures to be used? There is no extra process for making any part or component or anything. the flow of work is like; identifying current available designs and their working, Angles and number of images for good quality image, Making and gathering all the components and parts, Assembling, coding, testing and documenting.

what tasks need to be completed? Main task is to make a Simple biogas kit which works with the least number of materials and developing those parts which houses these components and work accordingly. I was not good with electronics and coding but i have learned it and i think i will be writing a code for my design

what questions need to be answered? There are few things on which i am working. Amount of biogas to be produced per day. Easy maintanence of the biogas kit due to that it will be exposed to the sorrounding.

what is the schedule? I have started working on the the Machining. I have already got all the components and materials i need I will start assembling immediately after cutting all parts. I will present my final Presentation on 21st june 2017, 11:10 EDT.

how will it be evaluated? It can be evaluated from the complexity of the working, from the production of gas and from the way it is easy for transportation,etc.
