Applications and Implications
My final project name is Basundi maker which is helpfull to reduce energy and fuel.Here I am
using solar energy as a fuel by keeping milk pot on solar reflector(Prince 40)
I am making this system for increasing density of liquid
specially milk. When density of milk will get increase up to our requirement then it will give alarm
then we have to go and collect the milk.We can use this system in our regular kitchen also.
what will it do?
It will stir liquid continuously and when it become viscous it will give intimation by providing
alarm.we have to give input for how much milk we have put in pot.
who's done what beforehand?
Available Basundi maker in market require oil or cooking gas as a fuel and there is no alarm
for completion of process so ,It require one dedicated supervisor.Also there is no system
available in market which can be operated on solar.

what materials and components will be required?
Pot - Should be of large base area so that evaporation rate will get increase
stirrer-to stir milk so that it wont stick to pot
motor- for stirrer rotation
Holder -for stirrer and motor to hold them properly
Current sensor - to sense current drawn by motor
Controller- Using helloword board to take input from user and give alarm after completion of
process
Battery - for providing supply to motor and controller
Electronics components- Components required for helloword board and connecting cables
where will they come from?
Most components I have used from Fab-Inventory.Like electronics components for controller
board and Fabrication of stirrer and holder is done in fablab
I have purchased Motor and current sensor from electronics market.
how much will it cost?
Total system costs around- 3000/- rupees
what parts and systems will be made?
We can make power supply,stirrer,stand or holder for stirrer and motor,All electronics like
controlling board and current sensor
We have to buy motor,battery and pot
what processes will be used?
For doing assembly I have mostly used Laser cut parts.I am using user interface initially for
putting amount of milk we have put in pot.
what tasks need to be completed?
Just I am facing problem with current reading.I have tested with 3 sensor modules but not worked.
It is remained to set point of voltage by current
sensor at which our basundi will get ready

Market survey - 1 st feb to 20 feb
Observation and readings -13 feb to 6 may
Experiments by using other equipments for evaporation -13 feb to 10 march
Designing and fabrication - 18 may to 12 june
Electronics and programming -13 may to 14 june
how will it be evaluated?
We have to consider cost of instrument,capacity,Fuel cost, facilities provided
by this single equipment

laser cutting,
Interfacing
Electronics designing,
Electronics programming,
Electronics production,
Shopbot cutting for making prototype of parabolic solar reflector,
composite for making prototype of pot.
Used 3D printing and designing for making cover of motor.
