Google SketchUP
By having an architecture influence thanks to my high school classes, the only 3D CAD software I was fairly avid
in was sketchUP. But I was kind of rusty when I hopped into it.
I took my architecture class in high school 5 years ago so I was ecstatic when using the tools were muscle memory. I started making the
base for my platform, but I difficulty on the next path. I was trying to create wheels by using the cylinder tool on the circular platform
and I was getting an error that I couldn't extrude from a round surface. At this point in time, I got flashbacks of when I would sit for hours during
class to draw every small line to create an extrudable cylinder. However, I easily made smaller cylindrical wheels and just attached them
to the platform.
I was still nostalgic, so I challenged my self to create a knight chess piece on top of my platform. I had alot of difficult creating
angled planes because I had to create many lines just to create something I wanted. But, I loved my end result.
