This week I have to develop a plan for dissemination of my final project. prepare a summary slide (presentation.png) and video clip (presentation.mp4) in my root directory
DISSEMINATION
This week I came across the term dissemination ,unfortunately I have no idea.I searched in google and got the meaning of dissemination.It is an act of spreading something, especially information widely ie circulation of information widely.Disseminate means, to broadcast a message to the public without direct feedback from the audience.
Intellectual property
When monopoly is assigned to designated owner for his creation by law it is known as Intellectual property . Trademarks, copyright, patents, industrial design rights etc are some of the Intellectual property rights (IPRs) granted to the creator of IP.The creations protected as intellectual property includes Artistic works like music and literature, discoveries, inventions, words, phrases, symbols,and designs. Intellectual property has been divided mainly into two different categories: Industrial Property and Copyright
Intellectual property rights allow the owner of patents, trademarks or copyrighted works to benefit from their own work or investment in a creation. These rights has been outlined in Article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.promototion and protection of intellectual property is needed since the progress and well-being of humanity rest on its capacity to create and invent new works in the areas of technology and culture. In addition to that the legal protection of new creations encourages the commitment of additional resources for further innovation. It results in economic growth further leads to new jobs and industries .
Licenses
A licensing agreement is actually a partnership between the onwer of an intellectual property rights ie licensor and another who is authorized to use such rights ie licensee in exchange for an agreed payment it may be fee or royalty. A variety of such licensing agreements are available, which may be broadly categorized into Technology License Agreement,Trademark Licensing and Franchising Agreement and Copyright License Agreement.
Open source licenses are a type of licensing in which creation of the owner can be freely used, modified, and shared.
For the approveal of Open Source Initiative (also known as the OSI), a license must go through the Open Source Initiative's license review process.

MIT License
The MIT License is a characteristically accepting free software license originating at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The MIT License is a permissive license, so that reusing of the software is possible. Permissive licenses may be defined as “lets people do anything they want with your code as long as they provide attribution back to you and don’t hold you liable”. The MIT license permits the user to reuse the MIT licensed sofware of someone within users software ,provided that all copies of the licensed software include a copy of the MIT License terms and the copyright notice which is given below
Creative Commons
The common features of all Creative Commons licenses is it ensures ,licensors get the credit for their work they deserve. My project work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.The description of my license is given below.
I choose this license for my work inorder to make my work available to a wider audience.Basically I am a teacher ,so I want my work to be improved by my students.In addition CC provides global recognition. It is easy to understand and easy to choose.thats all.
DISSEMINATION of my project for FABLABS
Ultimaker filament measuring instrument is a device which can be made in all fablabs so that the usage of the PLA can be monitored.Eventhough PLA is biodegradable plastic it is better to use it more effectively without spoiling.UFMI has to be further developed in such a way that it can be monitored and controlled remotely .We can provide a control over 3D printer if possible,so that if PLA is over 3D printer should be switched off .
