Using composites to make something

• Design an STL model of a mold.
• Make toolpaths for 3D designed mold.
• Mill in styrofoam mold.
• Mold the designed object with epoxy and fibers..

The tub was designed in fusion 360. Just a very simple form.

Make the toolpaths for the CNC

For the toolpaths I used PartWorks 3D. First of we needed to define the working area, the units used etc. Then we moved on to the tools that would be needed for the roughing and then eventually finishing. I designed my model to rough, finish and cut with a 1/2" ballnose and a feed rate of 3in/sec.
