CAD
Altough I prefer Solidworks, it's much easier to make a .dxf with a lot of contours in a 2D editor as Corel draw if you don't want to make assemblies. So, it's 50% Solidworks (table, stand, letter Pi) and 50% Corel draw (digits, plexiglass cover) in my project. You can look through my CAD assignment to look for details.




CAM
I love SolidCAM. It's embedded in SolidWorks. It has a lot of strategies and features of milling. I found Zen in metal machining.

3d-printing.
New version of CURA has a very powerfull strategy to internal padding.

Electronics development.
I discovered an amazing tool for this. Altium Designer is Great! Perfect relationships and transitions between schematic and traces! I really love it.

Electronics manufacturing.
For working with windows on Roland Modela MDX-20 I have chose CopperCAM. It has a very good import PCBs from GERBER-format. It's make my pcb more professional. And it is more precise than png-tracing.
