Final Project 


Week One idea

    The final project that I would like to try and make is a digital bar tender. There are some out already but are very expensive I plan to make a small version to make one type of drink but have the ability to expand to make others. I plan to use peristaltic pumps to dispense the liquid.

Final

For my final project I wanted to create a drink dispensing machine.  While doing research to see what has been done before I did find a lot of designs that varied in construction and how it worked.  There is also some commercial products for bars and home use but have extremely high cost.  For this design project the most important part of the system is the when to dispense the liquid.  My ideal project is to create a drink dispensing system that is expandable and have the ability to have a menu based on what types of liquids are in the system.  After a lot of research for the pump I choose to use a peristaltic pump to dispense the liquid because the liquid does not touch any of the moving parts and can keep items sterile.
