In the two weeks (week 9 & week 11), we need to make design a machine (mechanism + automation), including the end effector. Also, this is a group activity. In our fab lab there are four people having knowledge and experience in diverse fileds.

Following are the team members :

1. Amol Wadkar
2. Clement Burga
3. Chaitali Choudhary
4. Sudarshan Kondgekar

First, we had a brainstorming session at out LAB through which we collectively decided to make a Sand drawing machine.

Then we also discussed about the structure of our machine and we finalized to make 4-axis machine.

After this we distributed the work among the team members as per individual expertise and skillset as given below.

1. Amol Wadkar - handling electronics and assembly of the machine
2. Clement Burga - Mechanical design of the machine
3. Chaitali Choudhary - handling electronics part and coding part of the machine
4. Sudarshan Kondgekar - handling electronics part and coding part of the machine

So, clement designed the model in solidworks. You can find the details of mechanical design on our group page.

Then Me, Sudarshan and Amol did assembly of laser cut parts.
