ASSIGNMENT
I was working on this group assignment with Ana and Ola, they live in Denmark. On this page is my individuali documentation and here is the group documentation. I went to Denmark for few days and worked with Ana and Ola in Fab Lab Spinderihallerne in Vejle. The video below shows some of the process. Ola wrote the following description:
This video is documenting a process of developing a machine that can read drawings and turn them into light paintings for long exposure photography. Made during Fab Academy 2017 by Ana Cabral, Ola Mirecka and Birkir Thor with a huge help from Bas Withagen. Based on the modular machines developed by Nadya Peek. Filmed mostly by Rasmus Laurvig.

I put the LED board that I had made in week 10 on the machine and connected everything I needed for the programming.
Programming with C code.
This is how the boards should be connected.
We found what the problem was, we needed to change the resistors on the connection board from 1K to 604 ohm. We got the right resistor after few weeks, it was then we got the machine working.
Here is a video of the machine moving. I didn't have time to make make a long exposure photo with a LED, I will do it after the Fab Academy.

The machine was not yet programmed but I wanted to try the long exposure photography with the LED light I had made.
On the image below I moved the two axis manually. The timeline on the camera was 30 seconds and the RGB LED changed colors every 10 seconds. The light is very thick so I had to change it.
Here are few examples of a light exposure photos. I moved the machine with my hands just to get an example of how it works.
This is another LED board that I made in week 6 with a blue LED light.
