My task was to perform a practice and see the behavior of materials.
For my homework this week I decided to make a mold pot and then play it .
MATERIALS
250 resin
fiberglass
gel coat
I began by applying a layer of gelcoat in a container so that the upper layer would be coated .
After that, it was time to apply the composite, in this case I opted for fiberglass. To add the fiberglass I used a mixture of a PP resin with K2000 catalyzer to get it to stick. It was like when you do paper mache
Finally I used a final layer of gelcoat to make it a little easier and resistant and also easier to paint .
I had to break the pot as it did not come out my mold and as a result went very well the reproduction of the pot , which note is like making a mold -resistant only using materials such as resin and fiberglass
