This week's assignment

Propose a final project that integrates the range of units covered

After past 4 month from the initial state, there are some slight changes

1. Who's done what beforehand?

Many prople make LED Matrix display, but this time I want to attach few other features. Such as send/receive message via internet.

Body: Acrylic board, ABS, Bamboo sheet, metal bolts/nuts Board:ATmega328,capacitors,resistors,8x8LED matrix,coppor tape,Regulator,PCB,FTDI,ESP8266

3. Where will they come from?

Lab's stock/Local electric parts shops,material suppliers.

4. How much will it cost?

Around $35 for 1set.

5. What parts and systems will be made?

Main/Sub curcuit board. Touch sensor, LED matrix module, Body

6. What processes will be used?
Laser cutter, CNC, 3D printirng, vynyl cutter.

7. What tasks need to be completed?
-Make LED matrix module.
-Send/Receive twitter message via internet.
-Make touch sensor.
-Transfer received data to LED matrix.
-Make enclosure.

How to connect to internet.
How to make touch sensor switch.
How to transfer received data to LED matrix.
How to scroll text message on LED.
How to put Kanji(Japanese characters) on LED.
How to connect with Twitter.(Send/receive)

-5/12 Draw system and exteria image.
-5/19 collect necessary parts.
-5/31 research and make prototype for each functions.
-6/14 put all features in one system
-6/18 finish presentation material

Use smartphone to confirm every feature.
