Gestalt Nodes

the gestalt nodes are a device very complete in hardware and software, with this device is a good alternative to make a machine CNC, also can be easily networked and connects via Fabnet USB to your computer and to the steppers, the gestalt it works with various actuators and effectors.

For this week and to complete the machine, I will make a gestalt node to control a stepper, the object is follow with the development of the gestalt to generate an output with a stepper, first look for the elements we will need.

To start performing the gestalt nodes is get the images for the software eagle, if you know anything about electronics you can edit it to simplify or correct some things, and export the images in the best pixel quality, do not forget to export the images have removed layers that are not going to be needed and avoid bad backs through the machine, for the back of the gestalt is not necessary reflect the image because you flipped the plaque.


To try to make a gestalt nodes, first make something proof with the design of the plaque, first perform the traces of the front and get the errors, try to make the back traces and coincide with front, and by last holes to connect the both sides but the image is wrong because I have a invert colors for the mill cut inside.


in front traces to fabmodules make all the vectors in the image you must chance the tool diameter in configurations, this value you can use for mill of 1/64 or 0,010, remember chance the tool diameter first because you can have a problem and to correct this we have a soldier with tin.

For the communication is very good, you learn to communicate your idea and to work in good shape, to get your idea is very important in a group work so as not to have discussions.

The design plan makes in a day like brainstorming, all the students contributed with an idea of how make the machine, and we established its operation and what applications we could achieve.

- Analyze and solve technical problems

The problems we were solving them while completing the machine, These problems were generated at the time of arming the machine by effects that we realized at that moment, the problems were solved by other processes to improve the operation of the machine.
