Week 9 y 11: Mechanical and Machine Design:
Design a machine (mechanism + automation), including the end effector.
Build the passive parts and operate it manually.
Individual Contribution:
For this challenge, my main contribution was to take charge of the internal organization of our team, to get everyone involved and organize them to achieve the objective.
First, did a brainstorming. The concept of the machine was defined. The material to be work with was defined. We also defined what material our machine would work with.
I also documented all the information of the group work.
Personal work:
After ordering the job and delegating responsibilities, I also took care of helping to take steps to improve our design and make the joints work better. I also collaborated by building the external structure and designing an improvement in the support of the milling tool with my colleagues. Through the activities that we have been developing, obviously my specialties are not those of design, so for this part of the work for greater effectiveness, I have contributed ideas, improvement observations and continuous supervision, they have been in charge of designing it a lot faster. Also setting and disarming the structure. I have also collaborated on the details of the work to make it look good until the end, have stability and work. As you can see in this video:
Self Evaluation:
It was an awesome experience to work and manage this team, we made our machine and it works.
For grupal assignment it is important to define responsabilities and lear through the team work.
All our problems were big opportunities to learn even if we did not want. We all set to work
