3D Scanning and Printing

3dwox sindon is one of the 3d printers we have in our lab

It has a reliable bed and since it can be easily moved out of the printer its easy to remove printed materials

its easy for bed adjustment and levelling which is different with the ultimakers

This week consisted of both group and individual work. As a group we did test all the printers. Individually I did build a curved cylindrical object with the 3D printer and I used solidworks to do 3d model designs and also 3d sense scanner for scanning.

We also have the ultimaker2+ which also prints well and is easy to operate, so we tried to compare the two printers and everyone came up with different views. personallly i prefered 3dwox, but my friends went for ultimaker 2+

After designing in solidworks i had to print using the 3dwox

After 3d printing a designed model, i went for 3d scanning and i used a 3d sense scanner within the 3D Scanner I used 3D sense scanner to scanmyself in time i was making this assignment report i lost same of my screenshot within scanning process so i decide to make another scanning process but i didn't print it because i had already printed the first one so the printed image is deferent from the scanning process snapshot images here there is the process i used in 3D scanning.
