Hydrobot is a design tool for digital craft. It is an extendable cnc that extrudes pastes such as cement; clay or flour into a mold. It uses peristaltic pumps; uses modular xy movement; servo movement; conveyor movement and vibrating motors to smoothen the paste when landing. This together with its parametric interface allow for endless design possibilities.
I have documented the process in different sections. One can read about the idea behind the machine in the concept section. Study mechanical details in the machine section; learn about the electronics and code being used and finally about the interface.
