Greetings from Namibia! For my space-savers and week icons I have decided to use the Herero language to start counting and a geometric (slightly African inspired) pattern. I hope to further explore cultural textile and printing in Namibia, perhaps I can add more value by somehow integrating technology and what we learn in FABacademy with local techniques.

Here is our lab, Bjorn and I worked incredibly hard to take it from an idea into reality. The lab was officially launched in 2014. We really love the lab and the possibilities and potential for creation from what is on the inside!
