Object detection system.

 

In the system can verify the detection of an object that is near the vehicle, the user can choose as to avoid the object or failing to stop the vehicle in time before its impact.

 

To carry out the prototype had to make use of new technologies such as infrared sensors to scan the surfaces of the vehicle and get to obtain the desired angles.

 

To know the distances and the type of angle that would have each proposed ultrasonic sensor had to be made the following calculations.

The system is comprised of different functional areas which are very important for the development and implementation. Then mention is made Areas:

  5. Alert System

 

Sensing stage

 

a structure which will have the ability to move from right to left to eliminate blind spots mentioned above, in such a structure the selected sensor will be designed to be integrated.

 

The structure will move according to steering wheel of the vehicle either if the user need to turn the vehicle to the right side or to the left side. This innovation intended to blind spots found in the part of the front side of the vehicle are less dangerous by the interference between the driver's vision and pillars or columns that are there.

 

The system will be able to detect what objects day and night for better driver safety, because as mentioned above, is where some systems do not have this ability and focus directly to a single environment, therefore it is intended the prototype vehicle integrates safety systems with which it already has.

 

Circuit and Signal Conditioning

 

circuits for controlling the voltages supplied to the prototype will be developed as the voltage supplied by the battery of the vehicle is around 12v therefore should monitor the behavior of the circuit to changes in voltage, since at the time of start the vehicle which causes the alternator voltage variations is operated. You need to have a circuit that controls the pulses generated by the same sensor to channel said pulses and emit a different order to activate a signal warning system.

Circuits that integrate the separate project of regulating the voltage, also modify the signal output from the sensors these circuits called signal converters would be responsible for converting the signals, these converters have two input signals called Vref + and Vref- which determine the range in which an input signal becomes. Some sensors produce an analog signal, which must be modified to digital or vice versa, so that this signal can be considered to send either 1 or 0 warning system since these systems only work this way, and they do not there are intermediate processes

Sensors-warning system

 

The interface will be through wiring between different devices either for food, as well as for communication.

 

Sensors and warning system will be linked through the programmable device which will be included in the system for better perception and automation of actions should take when needed. For example: To receive the signal coming from the sensors, for conditioning and then send it automatically made the warning system.
