Concept 1:3D SCANNER

Based on a ciclops scanner

The object would turn automatically on the turntable. The camera and the lasers would work in tandem to give an accurate 3D scan.

Challenges

The initial design is based on ciclops DIY scanner- an added advantage needs to be thought of, a USP(Unique selling point) needs to be found

Programming for the simultaneous camera, aser and the turntable would be a challenge for me as I dont have a strong computer programmming background.

Concept 2:FABBABLE LASER ENGRAVER & PEN PLOTTER.

I aim at making a multi tool machine. At present I aim at including a laser engraver and pen plotter.

I aim at making this machine as much as "fabbable" as possible.Hence, for the drive system instead of sourcing lead screws, I would use a rack and pinion system.For this I would be taking cues from VBird by Jens Dyvik.

I hope to add a milling head also, if possible later on.

I aim to make the machine a "multi-bot",that can do a variety of function, by swappable heads.

Concept 3: Split Flap Display a.k.a Solari Display

This a video that sparked , my intrested in Solari Displays.

This is how the mechanical setup for the cards would be.

I aim to buid it in modules, that can be connected together to diplay a word.Also I hope to build a mobile GUI to control it wirelessly.
