1. 2D and 3D design

Illustrator (Adobe CC,Windows 10)
We did an
emosilla workshop in October 2016 in our Fab. In this computer-aided design, I used the chair data for this
workshop.
Emosilla is a design for children's workshops that began with
FabLab in South America.. Since being designed by
Ilaria La Manna of Argentina, workshops have been held in various parts of Latin America.
Children enjoy the
original chair design at the workshop.
I received emosilla chair data from
Mr. Masakazu Yurt KATO (Fab Academy graduated in 2016). So I thought that I would like to create a desktop size emosilla that I can put on a desk.
At first, I resized to a size of 1/5 with an Illustrator. I named it "Emosilla
mini".

I saved it in DXF format so that it can be handed over to Fusion 360 of 3D-CAD. However, since it was only outline data, 3D objects could not be created as it was. So I painted each part again.

Inkscape (0.92,Windows 10)
I tried opening a file created by Illustrator even in Inkscape.
1.2 3D design
-Fusion360(Windows10)
First I inserted DXF format data into Fusion 360. Next, I extruded it into a 3D object and assemble each part. It is completed with the material as a plate.
2.Final project model
-Fusion360(Windows10)
I am planning to make a robot "Fab Toast" that can toast to a remote in a final project.
The function is as explained in
the assignments of last week.
I created 3Dmode of "Fab Toast" using Fusion 360.
Next, I tried to upload the created 3Dmodel to the
Skechfab with reference to the web page of other students(cool!).
It was my first time to use Skechfab.
I registered and uploaded 3Dmodel data (iges format) but it failed. So I changed the data format to STL format and succeeded.
I got the tag of the uploaded 3Dmodelof "Fab Toast" and can display it on this page.
