My contribbutionS

In our group is decided to make a chocolate plotter.Then we are discussed what are all the components are needed for this project, but some of them are not to get in our fab inventory, that is why we collected some damage printer and scanners, in that we got smooth roads,belts,gear,motors etc..

My Design part

Gear holder

I decided to make a gear holder in rhino inorder to hold the threaded the belt for the same I have searched many similar designs and ended up in finalizing one as shown here for the design the vernier is used to calculate the dimension of the screw for the fitting purpose.And I have to give a gap for the fixing of the belt and the rod. Here I focused mainly on the stability and strength of the design.

I used ultimaker2 for printing the same, checked the dimension all good.

Assembling

Assembling is the main part of the job in this during time .more over the assembling job is very careful job, because at this time there is high chance to breakdown the acrylic or another design part also we don’t to get high pressure when we assembling.after the designing some files are gave to me for the 3D printing and laser cutting process, I handled these jobs are very nicely.
