Leisure Center Cobo Calleja

The purpose of my Fab Academy project is to accomplish my Final project of architecture which I am working on.

It is a leisure center in Cobo Calleja, the biggest industrial park of Europe, in Fuenlabrada, Madrid.

Developing the concept of change arises the idea of the project, I decided to do an interactive façade with distance sensors to interact with the people.

The idea is to use light translucent transmissive materials to do it.

At the beginning I was thinking about optical fiber but then I decided to do it with acrylic, engraving it with the laser cutter if I put a light in the border the light will go by the engraved lines.
