MACHINE DESIGN
GROUP PROJECT ELECTION
After a brainstorm we chose the machine proposed by ILAN E. MOYER which is very interesting. This machine has serial communication for the control of step motors and these are executed movements at the same time, in addition this machine is fundamental to replicate FAB LAB equipment because it has the control of movement in the 3 axes x, y, z, As an addition to our project we will place a fourth axis which belongs to the platform. The structure will be carton, which will be designed, cut and assembled to support 80kg. In this way we will make an economic product and very resistant.
PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION
In my case, present a proposal of the machine design, where the detail of the movements in the X, Y, Z axes is represented.
Consist in:
- Draw the detail of stepper motor.
- Draw the detail of support for stepper motor.
- Draw the detail of axle guides
- Draw the detail of assembling the pieces.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
The disadvantages that were presented were the following:
- Design the concept of the machine to proceed to arm the structure.
- The design had to be adjusted to the size of the step motors, to avoid modifying the axis of the passing motors.
- Understand the programming in PYTHON in the base files.
- Make modifications to PYTHON files.
-Control the current in the stepper motors.
- Control the movement of the 4 axes.
- Generate the files the NC code to send orders to the 4 axes.
- Make a sturdy support for the spindle.
