Hello! I'm Santiago Vera from Uruguay.
I have lived most of my life in Montevideo. As a child I grew up between family and friends, in the countryside and in the city, between pencils and soccer balls. I play guitar, take pictures and travel. I love time, processes and beauty. When things get rough I usually go swimming, skating or meditating in front of the sea.
My academic training as an architect, coupled with my passion for the beauty of art, science, nature and working with digital tools has allowed me to develop a personal journey as a 3D visual artist. I am currently studying the fine arts career and working independently offering visualization and communication services for architecture and industrial design.
"After all, we are what we do to change who we are."
Eduardo Galeano, Uruguayan writer.
The equation of life is personal to every being. In each of us, different and changing fields of conscious and unconscious actions overlap. We sail, in the dark, making decisions that converge with the decisions of others, and right there, the light is perpetuated. I seek to find existential meaning in this overlap. In the Fab network I found a means to materialize the flows of ideas with the information and experimentation of new technologies in digital fabrication.
