Networking and Communications



Assigment objetive:



1.- Design and build a wired &/or wireless network connecting at least two processors



1.- Boards


To start making this assignment I have being thinking in optimize my time in order to invest more time in my final project that is worrying me a little bit. I decided to use the input and output circuit boards that I had design and fabricate in previews assignments with two proposals:

A: Expand the programming code that I have to my input and output boards
B: And continue with 3D tracking board developing


I used as an input to this communication system the 3D tracking board that I had designed in inputs assignment.





And as an output device y used the RGB Led board that I create in outputs assignment





2- Connecting processors



To connect input and output boards I decided to use TX and RX pins as a communication way in order to do that I had to create digital port to attiny 44 board coding “SoftwareSerial serial(5, -1); // RX, TX” in its program. And the program had to change to get from 3D tracking capacitive sensor 3 variables R, G and B to send that information to RGB board and blink R, G or B color (Andres Moreno helps me a lot in programming process).











Conclusions:



After some tries it works. This experience was amazing for me because finally I found a way to communicate two processors and as an Industrial Designer this will help me a lot to make products as gadgets. Another thing is that the communicational problem that I had in outputs devices assignment is solved and that means that I just have to prove with more resistors in order to get 3D tracking with my board instead by arduino board. Now I can say that 3D tracking board is working correctly and I had to see which capacitor would work
