What my project idea is about.
I decided to make something that i saw myself capable of making from all the things ive learned in the Fab Academy course.
my idea for the final project comes form me being kinda overwhelmed with all that we had to learn in such short amount of time but also from the skills ive aquierd
in the course. also as Neil has been reminding that it is a good idea to make things that will be usefull for your final project so i made the ir board to test the IR sensor and control board for it
then used the composites week to make the base plate for the turret mount. the gun has alreddy been aquierd.
What it will do
The funcktion of the turret is to detect someone etering the room then find it with the webcam taget it and fire a couple of nerf shots. I will add a battery pack ad try to have it stand alone and independant.

Dissaemble the Nerf gunif im gona add the webcam i will need a input board for it
I then Need to figgure out all the programming for this stuff

I dissaemeld the gun to see how it works and from that i saw that i will require a servo to fire it since it is not motor fired buy a motor but a by the trigger mechanisum.

What will be made

- what parts and systems will be made?
first the launhcer will be made with motors and servo to launch the dart.
Form that the arm and turret mountings will be designed and made.
After that the sensor mounts will be made.
- what processes will be used?
Composites lasercuting for pressfitngs and the plexibender.
- what tasks need to be completed?
First the launcher itself needs to be made and comminucations whth it need to be established to talk to it before the presantations then from that the weeks
following up untill the deadline to atleast fnish the turret mount, the sensor input and communications between the commandboard to the node estabished.
- what questions need to be answered?
Thise questions and more.
- what is the schedule?
the dates in the previous question, but all haste will be made to finish each part of this prosess with time to spare for final fixes and troubleshoots.
- how will it be evaluated?
Once done with ths prototype i will be able to create a more finished product thats more fleshed out and with less seethough parts and a neater look to it.
this is somehting I'dd like to contiue with and also use as a template for diffrent projects based on things that i discover from this prosess and experiance.
