About me

Hey, I'm Tim. I like to create in collaboration with computers.

This is me

"If you are not doing what you love, you are wasting your time."
- Billy Joel

The concept of a future where computers are more than tools, but integral partners in the creative process is what inspires me. I'm drawn to generative systems, interactive art and digital fabrication techniques as means to rapidly facilitate change.

Currently I work at MakerLabs, Canada's largest makerspace, heading a new division called PWRFL focused on leveraging the resources of the makerspace to produce interactive installations and public art. Community is important to me, so I stay involved by helping facilitate the Vancouver Creative Technology meetup, which is a platform for creative nerds to share their work and meet like-minded innovators.
