About me
My name is Nicola Giannelli, and I've got a Bacheleor Degree in IT Engineering, graduated at Università degli Studi di Siena, Italy.
I'm looking forward this Fab Academy, because i'm interested in being a maker, and learn something new!
Final Project
This is the old project - left here for reference - go here for the new one
My idea for the final project is a machine for doing photogrammetry.
There is a base, on which the object stands, and a camera goes up and take 360° degrees photos.
The camera also can pan: this is needed to get all the angulations of the object.
These photos then are processed by an application (like 123D Catch by autodesk) that generates the 3D model.
