In this week I will define the scope of my project and develop my project plan..
Week 17 checklist:
1.what will it do?
My Final project will be an automated cloud making machine that would be used in Kids parties, it is FUN to see and use, and can be modified to suit different purposes,, my inatial idea is to make this device for the kids to play & learn more about Whale's and smiplified Morse code.. I would like to develop the project further in the future a product that I can see on the market.
2.who's done what beforehand?
Flogo machine ..
3.what materials and components will be required?
I will be using different components for my project:
*Main part: will be made out of container, Vinyle tube, Helium, & Bubble Solution..
*Housing: Plastic/Wood via lasercut – Stickers via vinyl cutter ..
*Automation: Electronics components: Servo motor, Ir sensor, pushbutton, pcb .. etc
4.where will they come from?
*Main part: Hardware store – Supermarket
*Housing: Plastic/Wood supplies – Plastic supplies - Shuwaikh
*Automation: Electronics components from our lab / Shuwaikh / Hawally ..
5.how much will it cost?
*Container: 3$
* Dishsoap: 3$
* Viynl Tube: 0.3$/meter
* Helium cylender: 50$
* Plastic: 8$/ 90*60cm
* Stickers: 3$/ 10 pcs
* Servo motor: 10$
* Solenoid sensor: 60$
* IR Sensor: 0.7$
* Push Button: 1$
* 3d Filement: 10$/Spoil

6.what parts and systems will be made?
- Main Part will be made out of house-hold items..
- Housing will be out of plastic with interlocking mechanism ..
- Control panel will be made out by designing and milling a curcit board..
7.what processes will be used?
- Laser Cutter.
- Viynl cutter.
- PCB Milling machine.
- 3d Printing.
- 2D & 3D Designing software.
8.what tasks need to be completed?
- Figure out the mechanism of creating the shaped foam.
- Design the enclosed box.
- Program the Machine.
9.what questions need to be answered?
- How to make "Shapes" from the foam?
- What is the best way to attach the Vinyl hose to the Helium cylinder without esacping gas ? if I have time I will check this part
10.what is the schedule?
The project should be finished before 30.06.2017.
11.how will it be evaluated?
For the project to succeed I will need to get the full mechanism to work, make clouds, and cut them automatically : )..
