Is the process of manufacturing by shaping liquid or pliable raw material using a rigid frame called a mold or matrix. This itself may have been made using a pattern or model of the final object. (Wikipedia).
Is a manufacturing process in which a liquid material is usually poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. The solidified part is also known as a casting, which is ejected or broken out of the mold to complete the process.(Wikipedia).
Using ArtCAM software I designed a heart shape which is simple and will do the trick with a nice beautiful shape and I make sure that there is enough spacing for the bit between the heart and the edges. Then I made two tool-paths one for the 3mm rough cut tool and another one for the fine cut tool and saved them as plt files

using the CNC machine -which used earlier for week 7 assignment to apply the design into the jewelry engraving wax

Using water to fill the milled wax in order to measure the volume which was 40 ml.

.
So I need 20 ml of RTV2 Liquid Silicon Rubber, Solvent A (RTV1510-A) and 20 ml of Solvent B (RTV1510-B) because the mixing ratio is 1:1. and I added 2 ml extra of each solvent to cover any loss.
You have to wear gloves to protect your hand and skin because the liquids might harm you.

Then with two transparent plastic cubs I measured the required quantity and mixed them in a large cub using wooden stick.

.
After that I poured the mix in the milled wax gently to allow the entrapped air to exit and avoid any bubbles and put small wooden sticks to help in removing the mould and waited for 24 hours to cure.

There are resins called Amazing Casting Resins consists of two materials Resin A and Resin B which has to be mixed in 1:1 ratio.

With process similar to the one above, poured the mix in the mould

and waited for 15 minutes and this is the final result.
