1st 3d scanning and printing test

This week began with a lot movement, after the Neil overview, Santi give as an introduction to the 3d scanners options, I tryed first with the Kinect, there I needed Skanect :

this is an app created for mobiles devices.
steps:
1.Tap the screen of your device.
2.Save the images
3. And let the program load yours model.
Then you have a 3d model.

With Remake Autodesk.

I could`not create nothing, because I don`t know, I still trying to fix up that problem.

Conclusions

With 3d scanners you have to move everything very slowly, because you can lost the conection with the interface. Also the light is an other item very important to evaluate, because that changes everything

Depending the software that you used to procces the model, or the images, because you ar createing model from pictures, you have diferents restrictions

The most important thing with the 3D printers is.

Design and 3D print an object (small, few cm) that could not be made subtractively

This is one of the most Common problems when you go to print a 3D model, because you need supports, or thing first in the design
