Fab Bus
About
Hi my name is Halldór Berg Sæmundsson and i am a 34 year old electric teacher at Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti. I got into Fablab Reykjavík in 2014 and started to learn about the software and the equipment.
My lab
Fab Lab Reykjavík was opened on January 24th, 2014 as a collaboration between the Reykjavíkurborg, Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti and Nýsköpunarmiðstöð Íslands. Our lab's capability's include laser cutting, vinyl cutting, heatpress, 3D scanning and printing, large format cnc milling, molding and casting, creating circuit boards and programming electronics.
Final Project
My final project is doing a realtime display of a bus arrival in a specific busstop. People are hanging out in the cold for the bus so why not not wait. If you could walk from your destination to the busstop and few second later he arrives. The dissplay would be located in schools and taking the messurment from the nearest bussstop.
