I had a lot of work in Theater wis week, but I try to contribute the maximum I could.
Things I tried to do :
Being active during the choice of project.
Facilitating Working Groups and dialogue with its Members.
Designing the Fabnet board with Eagle, milling, soldering.
Designing the first parts with Lucia and "Gimli".
Cutting, glueing, sanding, painting parts using Plywood, Acrylic.
Destroying a PC to collect parts: Power supply, CD player mechanism...
Designing stands.
The first thing I did : building the Fabnet, I thought it was easier to begin with it.
As usual, I used Eagle to draw the schematics and implant components.
Soldering is no longer a problem.
Now let's start the machine conception:
We was inspired by scenic structure so we decided to make a truss structure.
The first part to do seems to be central part. I used Inkscape to design this parts, then laser with 5mm plywood
I glued the five different parts with wood glue.
Finally I painted the part in black. We also designed triangles with Inkscape and cut them with laser,
We choose 5 mm clear acrylic to make this triangles. Then we started to assembly the structure.
