An invention is a unique or novel device, method, composition or process. The invention process is a process within an overall engineering and product development process. It may be an improvement upon a machine or product or a new process for creating an object or a result. An invention that achieves a completely unique function or result may be a radical breakthrough. Such works are novel and not obvious to others skilled in the same field. Intellectual property rights
(refer the privious websites of fab academy)Intellectual property rights include patents, copyright, industrial design rights, trademarks, plant variety rights, trade dress, geographical indications and some jurisdictions trade secrets.
CopyRight- copy right is for creative works, all the work that we do in FabLab is a creative work just like movies or music. It regulates the permision to copy, modify, distribute your work. The great thing about copyright is that you dont need to file a copyright you just need to create a creative work, copyrights are created at the source and are valid for lifetime + 70years. For getting a copyright one can put a copyright symbol on the work or mention a sentence.
Patents- A patent is a set of exclusive rights granted by a sovereign state to an inventor or assignee for a limited period of time in exchange for detailed public disclosure of an invention-Wikipedia
There are two types of patents- one is a utility patent which is granted for 20 years, these are much more powerful and are given to things which do something eg a pen or a type of drug, and a design patent which is granted for a period of 15 years, these are given to design related things such as curving the edges of an i-phone. Patents are a type of intellectual property.
A common misconception is that the patents protects you, well it does not it only gives you an access to the court to litigate to protect.
A trademark is a recognizable sign, design or expression which distinguishes products or services of a particular trader from the similar products or services of other traders.
It is a legal term which refers to the characteristics of the visual or its packaging of a particular product.
GNU General Public License
The GNU General Public License (GNU GPL or GPL) is a widely used free software license, which guarantees end users the freedom to run, study, share and modify the software. There are currently three versions of license are available under GNU. The terms and conditions of the GPL must be made available to anybody receiving a copy of the work that has a GPL applied to it ("the licensee"). Any licensee who adheres to the terms and conditions is given permission to modify the work, as well as to copy and redistribute the work or any derivative version. Software under the GPL may be run for all purposes, including commercial purposes and even as a tool for creating proprietary softwares.(license site)
The distribution rights granted by the GPL for modified versions of the work are not unconditional. When someone distributes a GPL'd work plus his/her own modifications, the requirements for distributing the whole work cannot be any greater than the requirements that are in the GPL. This requirement is known as copyleft.Copyleft applies only when a person seeks to redistribute the program. Developers may make private modified versions with no obligation to divulge the modifications, as long as they do not distribute the modified software to anyone else. Note that copyleft applies only to the software, and not to its output (unless that output is itself a derivative work of the program)
My project license
I want to keep my project as a open source so that anyone can see and make this equipmentby there own.They can make this easily . In my machine I am using the solar panel as input device and super capacitor as battary so this is an new innovation idea and i will keep this as open source my project reduce the cost and also increse the efficiency of of product I have licensed

How I will generate income-As 'saur vedh machine has many advantages like- it is not cointain the battry and there fore it requres the less cost and i use d the solar panel and that solar panel can give the power to may system so in future i will modify my system and i make solar tracker kit.i only work on tracking system not on other part this is my plane for future
What I will do for order of 1000000s solar tracker
I accept this order ,since this product not available in market so outsourcing cannot be done. Althogh for assemblying and programming part ,I need to take help of approximate 50 people for purchusing assemblying and programming.My single unit cost is 50$ (40$ production cost +10$profit margin)so for 1000000s units it would be 4,50,00,000$.(discounted amount).
Now to place the order approximate 80% amount need to be take as advance.here I am assuming that with 50 people of team I can produce 400 Units in a day.So here we can deliver this order within 8 years (considering all national holidays).
These are the following steps to be take to produce finish good.
step 1-Placing order for Raw material.
step 2-sending invoice of 1000000units to custemer and 80% of payment receving.
step 3-Raw material purchesing
step 4-raw material distribute at different department(such as laser cutter,3d printer,pcb milling,soldring,programming)
step 5-production process planning.
step 5-fabrication and assembly of final product
step 6-packaging and labling of finish product.
step 7-Delivery of finish product.
step 8-final bill of full amount and reciving 20% OF remaning amount.

1.compony registration license - 2.Environment pollution control board license- Assumption take for this modeling 1.Transpotaation costs 2.Laber cost 3 Regular demand and supply 4.This order is taken by well establish manufacturing industry equipped with all necessary machines.
