_Week17_APPLICATIONS AND IMPLICATIONS.

_Introduction
Several times since the foundation of the FabLab Yucatán I worked with kids from all the ages teaching electronics, robotics, digital fabrication and most of all implementing the workshops of the FabLat Kids Network, in these I saw a pedagogical base besides covering different themes of the fablab, but my concern was always that for example of 10 children only 5 or 6 correctly captured the workshop and these children have lacked attention and always anticipated the exercise.
_The first idea...
The project is a "dis / order" where through the tools of digital manufacture and parametric design we can obtain 4 different electronic modules that are interlaced to form a total of 16 pieces that react to being united forming a specific circuit, each electronic element (MDF in laser cut, 3D printing PLA, acrylic laser cut, Triplay CNC) and output (LED, vibrator, buzzer, battery), corresponding to the 4 main areas of the brain (motor, Visual, auditory and sensory) depending on the module.
_The project:
What will it do?
Based on digital fabrication, electronics and ADHD educations for kids DIS/ORDER consists of a tool to teach the basic principles of electronica, 3D and IoT design through the creation of a circuit snapping the 4 modules with different textures and colors that when connected react between them that through an interface for controlling the outputs.

Who's done what beforehand?
Project references for the electronics
Project references for educational approach
What materials and components will be required?
For the physical forms:
For the electronics:
Where will they come from?
From the FabInventory and Digikey.
How much will it cost?
This list present how much it cost each module with their electronic components and the extra materials present all the others materials (this have asterisk because you can cast more than 4 modules with that amount of material).
What parts and systems will be made?
All the partes of each module included the case, the electronics, the code and the web interface.
What processes will be used?
Processes :
What tasks need to be completed?
What questions need to be answered?
What is the schedule?
WEEK 01 31MAY-2JUN
WEEK 02 5JUN-9JUN
WEEK 03 12JUN-14JUN
How will it be evaluated?
I think that from the conception of the project and going through each of the assigments, it has taken shape and I have learned how to focus on what I learned to be able to develop it. When I started the FabAcademy I had no idea how the part of the project was going to work electronics and programming, as well as how to create parts and interface.
