WEEK 2

COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN

FUSION 360

This week I have been learning Fusion 360.
I downloaded it from HERE for free. It used to be completly free but I don't think it is anymore. It is free for students and enthusiasts. I watched multiple tutorials and tried to play arround with it. I have worked in Rhino and Solid Works before but I think Fusion 360 is a perfect program for me. The next chalenge is to learn how to think in it and how to make constraints in a way that my design is parametric. I also love that you can render in it and make technical 2D drawings. It will take me some time to become an expert but I feel excited about it.

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

I know it is not the best thing to do but I know illustrator very well and sometimes it is much faster for me to make a flat technical drawing in Adobe Illustrator.
I imported the technical drawings from Fusion to Illustrator to make the final PDF.

Here you can find oryginal files of the stool edited in Adobe Illustrator and saved as a pdf.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

It has been a long time since I've used 3D modeling software to design new shapes. I would like to get better at it.
