After I saw this image on right below in Pinterest, I really want to make it in big size. I tried to make one by using laser cutter, but what I could make was 21 cm hight and cut side was black. That was not I want. So I will try to make it woody in big size by using CNC in this assignment.
Making 3D data
I used to use 123D Make, but this time I will use Slicer for Fusion 360.
Install Slicer from here.
Download dog stl file form Thingiverse.
Opened in Slicer, but Up-Axis is not correct.
I opened stl file directly with changing up-axis "Z".
Set Material Size and Tool Diameter.
I am trying to make largest Dog form one board of this material. I also need to consider between each cut passes have enough room for stable cut process. So I decided the Height is 65 cm.
Select Interlocked Slices and Change Slice Direction.
Find and set count of 1st Axis and 2nd Axis. If Axis of forefoot and hind leg is same, one can be assembled but the other cannot be assembled. So I need to make upper body parts and lower body parts separately and mix them later.

I use Shopbot. Material is Plywood 1820 mm x 910 mm x 12mm.
Endmill 6mm squarer
Import DXF file to VCarve Pro and set parameters.
Make 2D toolpaths and add tabs.
Path is made. Then save as .sbp file.
download .sbp I also make drill position path by using create vectors "circle" in this window.
In Shopbot CNC
[F]ile -> [P]ART FILE LOAD
[K] to show keypad, use keyboard arrow keys to move Shopbot's head.
Safety
I protect my eyes and ears. I keep attention to emergent stop button. I also keep putting my finger on space key to stop Shopbot any time.
Milling
One small part is vacuumed to duster, so I milled it to replace.
