INVENTION

About the invention of my project, the only thing i can say that this project is a combination of some of the most important examples of Soft Robotics that i found applied a specific purpose, to do a wearable that transmit informations through the face. So the main purpose in case some one wants to use this info is to use it for research.

I will have a prototype for the final presentation, but I will continue the development of my project from the Fab Lab wich I work.

LICENCES

When you have an invention, prototype, research, drawing, lyrics, etc. the most common licenses that you can you for protect your work are Copyright and Creative commons. I will explain a litle bit how this works because is very important to know this and for example in my case I will advise my students that are develpming prototypes from the Fab Lab where I work.

COPYRIGHTS: In resume, this kind of licence is for protecting the commercial rights. For example, if you invent something that could be disrupting that might change the world, the industry, etc. and you want to own all the monetary earnings, or share the invention but with the recognition of your work this one is the indicated.

CREATIVE COMMONS: This licence is for sharing the information that you generate with your invention and you can establish the limits as long as you want. For example, if you want to share the info but you don't want others earn money with your invention, you can set this in the CC licence.

Why CC?

As i mentioned before, I decided for my Fab academy project i want to research and start prototyping with soft robotics because in future I want to apply these knowledge in future comercial projects.

All the information that I found it was complete under creatuve commons license. Thingiverse, Instructables, Youtube tutorials, niel's information, previous fab academy documentation, etc. are amazing resources that you can followed and create a lot of new projects and inventions as long as you respect their restrictions.

Besides I hope some of my assignments are helpful for the next students of Fab Academy.

Why CC?

The internet's own boy is a nice documentary that helped me some years ago to understand how important is the open source information. I really recommend it.
