18. INVENTION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND INCOME

INVENTION

My project is to collect data about the beehive and the enviroment where is it, to learn more about bees. The sensors of the enviroment will indicated if the beehive is in a good area. I will explain to understand it, imagine you have two beehive in a different areas and they have the same productivity and the same number of bees, maybe in one of them has less sunny days and more windy and raining days, it will indicated that in this one it is a better area (more flowers maybe) because the bees has less time to work and I mentioned before that both of them have the same productivity.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The bees are very important in our lives, they pollinate a important part of everything we eat and play a vital role in sustaining the planet's ecosystems. As the greatest modern scientist Albert Einstein once prophetically remarked, >Mankind will not survive the honeybees’ disappearance for more than five years. Nowadays the popullation of bees have been dying off at increasingly rapid rates it is for that reason that the bees are a very serious issue and I would like the project to be shared and disseminated to many people as possible.

I am going to make this project as an open source non-commercial project, because I think this is a good way to share knowledge and progress.

I decided to license my final project under a Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

The other option is Creative Commons. When you lisence your project, you have to ansewer two questions, 1. Do you want to allow the adaptations of your work to be shared? 2. Do you want to allow commercial uses of your work? In both of them, the ansewer is yes. The licensee has the right to copy, distribute, display and represent the work and make derivative works as long as it recognizes and cites the work in the manner specified by the author or the licensor; and the beneficiary of the license has the right to distribute derivative works under a license identical to the license that regulates the original work.

INCOME

It would be great to get income from governments or public companies as well as private foundations. Bees are a big problem of all of us.

DISSEMINATION

Attend and do conferences in the bees events, makefaires, etcetera.
