My final project is a system with a wheel precision, this system can be use in different applications, my system is not really complex, justly need to know about g-code and stepper motor control. I think than this system can improve and it have to change to be used in different applications, but this reasons I decide to looking for a creative common license (CC).



What is creative commons (CC)?



Creative Commons (CC) is a non-profit organization that allows the use and sharing creativity and knowledge through a series of legal instruments free of charge.
A CC license is used when an author wants to give people the right to share, use, and build up on a work that they have created under certain conditions.

License Conditions



Attribution (by)

All CC licenses require that others who use your work in any way must give you credit the way you request, but not in a way that suggests you endorse them or their use. If they want to use your work without giving you credit or for endorsement purposes, they must get your permission first.



ShareAlike (sa)

You let others copy, distribute, display, perform, and modify your work, as long as they distribute any modified work on the same terms. If they want to distribute modified works under other terms, they must get your permission first.



NonCommercial (nc)

You let others copy, distribute, display, perform, and (unless you have chosen NoDerivatives) modify and use your work for any purpose other than commercially unless they get your permission first.



NoDerivatives (nd)

You let others copy, distribute, display and perform only original copies of your work. If they want to modify your work, they must get your permission first.

What does GPL stand for? (WhatDoesGPLStandFor)


"General Public License"
The most widespread license is the General Public License or GNU. This can be further shortened to GPL.


Does free software mean using the GPL? (DoesFreeSoftwareMeanUsingTheGPL)

Not at all there are many other free software licenses. We have an incomplete list.
Any license that provides the user certain specific freedoms is a free software license.

What is creative fab?


This work may be reproduced, modified, distributed, performed, and displayed for any purpose, but must acknowledge "project name". Copyright is retained and must be preserved. The work is provided as is; no warranty is provided, and users accept all liability.

What would you do if someone wanted 10000s of your project?


I will bring together a team to work, this team could be the most quantity FabLabs of my country, because I keep in touch with theirs, or some FabLabs who is interesed. Based in the capasities we could work with a limited production (a quantity of prduction in a determined time) to complete this work.
