Website design and project portfolio

It is the first time that I designed a website and therefore is also the first time I program in HTML and JAVA, it is a new experience and I begin to understand the importance of being able to manage a project.

The first step was to download Sublime Text 3, a sophisticated text editor for code, markup and prose. Then I downloaded an example template from Star Bootstrap; Start Bootstrap is a collection of free Bootstrap themes and templates. To understand how it works and how a website is composed I used reverse engineering, in google crhome in the option of developer tools. The next step was to learn how to edit images in Illustrator and Photoshop, in order to scale each image and fit the template I selected from Bootstrap.

Having edited the template I learned to upload my files to the Git Lab of the Fab Academy, at this stage were useful tutorials developed by my tutors and my colleagues.

Bootstrap course from scratch (Spanish)

It was quite complicated to start programming HTML and CSS and understand how a website works. I had to spend many hours watching tutorials, luckily I found a very good tutorial and the best thing that is in Spanish, I could understand how the grids work, how to change the typography, to be able to change the styles of the template and to adjust my website.
