INVENTION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY BUSINESS MODELS

DESCRIPTION: Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project prepare a summary slide (presentation.png, 1280x1024) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) in your root directory.

step 1:

As a first step, I have made contact with the main public educactional institution for the visually impaired in Costa Rica, "Costa Rican Association of Parents and Friends of People with Autism". We are a non-profit non-governmental organization whose main goal is to improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families. We develop educational, therapeutic, recreational, cultural activities, among others, in order to achieve an accessible and comprehensible environment for our target population. We make efforts before the different state and private institutions to adapt the systems in health, education, recreation and social security and that people with autism can access all services in equal opportunities throughout their lives. The first step in communicating the project is to have some students use and test the prototype. From there, the institute will help in reaching students and authorities relevant to communicate about the project and the benefits it bears to the individual and his development. It is my intention to reach for private and public insitutions in order to fund a first release of the product, and use this first approach as an evaluation of the capabilities of the machine.

step 2:

As an architect and designer, every day we work with references for any work we do, as a starting point to generate ideas and have different points of view and comparison with other works in order to continue innovating in the field of design. In this way, by studying a little bit about intellectual property, take as a reference the "copyright" to know what kind of protection it offers to our daily projects and here we can find an ample description of this method of protection and according to what we need we will find pros and cons so we must deepen and know if this method is the ideal for our project. In this case, taking the fablab ideology of being able to contribute in a free and accessible way to any person in the world, I think the most feasible option is the license "fab",since it is not a product that needs to be closed, for both hardware and software improvements, on the contrary, being a project where various technologies were used (many of them new to me) every improvement that will be made I hope it will contribute to make it more efficient, stable and convenient. .

PLAN FOR DISSEMINATION

-Use it in at least one event that develops in the fablab in the next 3 months, as in a political debate or a special celebration.

-Use it in at least one artistic or music exhibition.

-Get feedback from "Costa Rican Association of Parents and Friends of People with Autism".

-Develop a research project using the device with people with autism.

-Disseminate the results obtained with the use of the device in the different indicated activities.

-Develop a marketing plan if FabLab wants to manufacture the product for sale.
