For this assignment I decided to make a container in the form of a star, to keep keys, coins or small objects, using textiles and resin, in addition to using 3mm MDF to make the mold.
1. Design the star shaped container.
2. Made several layers with the thickness of the material to give it height.
3. Divide the pieces to remove the mold and the counter mold.
4. Export the file in pdf for laser cutting.
5. We start with the laser cut of the parts of the mold.
6. Once cut all the parts we proceed to glue them to realize the mold and countermold.
7. All parts are properly glued.

9. Safety equipment, resin and catalyst.
10. I use 5 superposed layers of fabric to mix with the resin.
11. After reading the instructions for mixing the resin and the catalyst we find the form, for each 30ml of resin, twelve drops of catalyst are used.
12. We look for the measure that we use according to the depth the container and we mix everything.
13. Place the mixture on the textile layers and the mold.
14. Distribute the mixture well throughout the container.
15. We place the countermold.
16. Initially we pressed the countermold to distribute the mixture more.
17. We observe that the mixture begins to leave the open spaces.
18. Pour the remaining mixture to fill all the empty spaces.
19. Place a lid to secure the mold and countermold.
20. We use a press "C" to secure all the parts and leave drying the resin with the textile.
21. In my case, let the material dry about 8 hours before removing the parts.
22. After 8 hours, remove the press "C" to unmold the parts.
23. I unmold the pieces.
24. I proceed to clean and remove all waste material I do not need.

29. We cut the material we do not need.
30. We finally have the final product.
